Drill Bits: Impact Fee Wish Lists and Plasma Gasification

Pittsburgh Tribune-Review: Fayette County residents put road repairs and emergency preparedness at the top of their wish list for impact fee money.

New York Times: The Air Force is working on a system that disposes of municipal trash without incineration, recycles metals, gets rid of toxins and produces electricity while reducing emissions. It’s called “plasma gasification.”

Scranton Times-Tribune: A reduction in passengers flying in and out of Scranton-Wilkes Barre International, and Lehigh Valley International airports is due in part, to a reduction in gas drilling.
