StateImpact Pennsylvania's Shale Play App now includes more information about violations

Remember our Shale Play app? The feature that allows you to track every producing Marcellus Shale well in Pennsylvania?

Here’s some exciting news: we’ve overhauled and upgraded the interactive feature, adding more information and making it easier to navigate.

Want to know which areas of Pennsylvania have the most violations? We’ve built a new page visualizing which violations are happening where. We have also broken down the infractions by each specific violation-type, so you can see where companies have been cited for water pollution, or failure to properly store or transport waste.

The updated app is also easier to navigate, so you can search for wells by county, municipality or drilling company.
