Polish Shale Play Requires Heavy Investment

Houston’s public radio station KUHF has this piece about shale exploration in Poland. It turns out that Poland may have a rich shale play, but it doesn’t necessarily have the infrastructure to tap it and get it to market. Poland is desperate to get out from under the grip of Russia, which controls the supply of natural gas to much of eastern Europe.
