This winter has seen propane prices skyrocket to all-time highs.

Prices are starting to ease after blowing past all-time records in January.

This has been a tough winter for the more than 400,000 Oklahomans who rely on propane for heat and fuel.

Propane prices fell slightly this week, from a record high of more than $4 last week.

For the 400,000 or so Oklahomans who rely on propane for home heating and food preparation, it’s been a rough few weeks.

The U.S. Energy Information Administration lists the current average price of propane nationwide at just over $4 per gallon.
