“Teague Considered for Secretary of Energy, Environment”

Col. Michael Teague, the Tulsa District commander of the Army Corps of Engineers, is on Gov. Fallin’s short list for the newly combined secretary of environment and energy post.


Col. Michael Teague, the Tulsa District commander of the Army Corps of Engineers, is one of a handful of candidates being considered by Fallin as her cabinet secretary of energy and environment. A biographical sheet on the Corps of Engineers website said Teague received a degree in civil engineering from Norwich University and was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the Corps of Engineers in 1985. Teague retired as chief of the corps in July.
