“Southwestern Oklahoma Legislator Seeks Drought Review”

The district Rep. Don Armes, R-Faxon, represents hasn’t seen the same drought recovery as most of the rest of the state, and he wants to know more about Oklahoma’s plans for extended dry periods.


Armes said he wants to review the Emergency Drought Relief Fund created by the Legislature last year and receive testimony from officials with the state departments of agriculture and conservation.
