“Lawmakers Criticize Fallin-Perry Water MOU”

On Wednesday, StateImpact reported on how Oklahoma Gov. Mary Fallin and Texas Gov. Rick Perry were able to avoid further conflict over whether Texas could use a water pumping station located on Oklahoma’s side of Lake Texoma. But some lawmakers would like to have been consulted first.


“The memorandum of understanding that was signed in January does not take into consideration the current drought we are experiencing in southern Oklahoma,” Roberts, R-Durant, said in a media statement.
