“Chesapeake Remakes Board: Taps Ex-Conoco Chief Dunham For Chairman Job”

Archie Dunham, a former chairman and CEO of ConocoPhillips, has been named Chesapeake’s new Chairman.


The Southeastern directors are Bob Alexander, Brad Martin and Frederic Poses, the latter the former head of household fixtures company American Standard. Icahn’s representative on the board is Vincent Intrieri. Burns Hargis, who also submitted his resignation, will stay on for a period of time given his key role as chair of the board’s audit committee.

The proposed new board members replace Richard Davidson, Kathleen Eisbrenner, Frank Keating and Don Nickles, who resigned, and Charles Maxwell, who retired.
