Youngstown School District Caps Hours for Part-Time Workers to Save on Healthcare Costs

WFMJ reports that the Youngstown school district has limited the number of hours part-time staff can work.


The change will ultimately save the district from having to pay health care coverage.

As part of the the Affordable Care Act, also known as ObamaCare, any employee who work 30 or more hours per week is to be considered full-time, and qualify for health care at the expense of the employer.
