New Cristo Rey Columbus Private School Offers Classes Plus Jobs

The Cristo Rey chain of private, Catholic schools offers students regular high school classes as well as part-time jobs at local businesses. There are 25 of them nationwide, and now a 26th is expected to open in Columbus this fall.


Fourteen-year-old Freshman Imani Vann [a student at the Cincinnati Cristo Rey school] works at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital.

“I thought it would be much more difficult to handle school and working at the same time, but surprising it’s very easy,” says Vann.
