Lorain County Superintendent Passed Off Another Superintendent’s Work as His Own

Lorain County Joint Vocational School Superintendent Glenn Faircloth plagiarized a fall greeting posted on the school’s website from a greeting written by a New York superintendent, the Chronicle-Telegram reports.


Faircloth said he shared the sentiments conveyed in [Tonawanda Schools Superintendent Mark] Mondanaro’s text, but denied he committed plagiarism. He said he meant it as a compliment, but it’s not something he will do again in the future.

“If I knew it was going to be this much of a controversy, I would have put something that acknowledged his expression,” Faircloth said.
