Columbus PTA Coalition Doesn’t Support Columbus Schools Levy

Columbus school district voters will weigh in on a 9.01-mill property-tax question this fall. If the levy passes, eleven percent of the money raised will go to nonprofit, high-performing charter schools.


A coalition of Columbus’ PTA clubs reportedly will not endorse the district’s levy campaign.

The group voted this week to not take a position on the levy that would mean about $400 in new annual property taxes for the average Columbus home.
