The staff of Chardon High School in northeast Ohio were honored yesterday by Ohio Gov. John Kasich for their role in a shooting at the school last February that killed three students, WKSU reports.
“So that at the end of the day, … it’s going to make them somehow — through the tragedy –better for it,” [Kasich said.]
“We will remember those who have lost their lives and those who have been injured and we will pray for them, but in the meantime, I’d like to take a second to honor the great staff at Chardon High School for their great work.”
