T-Minus Two Weeks Until #Ohedchat Tweetups

We can't confirm or deny if there will be Twitter cakepops at the #ohedtweetups-- you'll have to stop by to find out!

It's time to charge your iPad, your iPhone, your laptop, along with any and every other device you have. There's only two weeks until the StateImpact Ohio co-sponsored #ohedchat tweetups at the Ohio Educational Technology Conference. What's a tweetup? What’s #ohedchat?A tweetup is an in-person event organized by people who interact via Twitter. And #ohedchat is a common hashtag that you might see pop up on your timeline during a weekly chat between Ohio's educators on Twitter. So, put them together, and the #ohedchat is a real-life extension of those weekly Twitter chats. The first #ohedchat tweetup is part of OETCx, the official "unconference" of OETC. It'll go down on Tuesday, January 28, from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in Room C224-C225. It'll be a good time to chat about anything and everything education related with new friends, old friends, or that guy who you only vaguely recognize from his Twitter avatar photo. On Wednesday, January 29, in Room C223 from 10:30 a.m.-12 p.m., you’ll have a chance to chat with your new #OETC BFF’s about everything you're absorbing from the third-largest education technology conference in the country. This chat will take place right after keynote speaker Alan November's presentation, so there will be plenty to talk about. There will be un-icebreakers (because we're far too cool for real icebreakers, of course), maybe even a few games, and a chance to expand your professional learning network even further.StateImpact Ohio is a sponsor of the #OETCx tweetup.
