How the Cleveland Schools Compare
On Monday, Feb. 11, Cleveland Connects will host a panel discussion on the Cleveland plan featuring city and school leaders.
Cleveland is Ohio’s worst urban school district; it’s the only one of Ohio’s largest big-city districts to get an “F” from the state on its current report card.
The Cleveland school district is about to embark on another ambitious improvement effort called the Cleveland Plan. The Cleveland Plan can mean both a package of state laws that significantly change how the district operates as well as the actual plan to improve the city’s schools.
On Monday, Feb. 11, Ideastream, the Cleveland Plain Dealer, PNC Bank and the Cleveland Leadership Center will devote an installment of their Cleveland Connects community conversation series to a panel discussion of what’s ahead for the Cleveland schools.
