Week Ahead: School Finance, School Report Cards
Tuesday: Senate Education Committee starts hearing on a bill that would change Ohio’s school report card system. The proposed new report cards would replace the current labels for schools with A-F grades and also make it harder for schools to get top marks. The bill passed the House last week.
Tuesday: Cleveland school board prepares to share millions of local tax dollars with charter schools.
Wednesday: State legislators get preview of school finance reform possibilities.
