Results of Statewide Ohio School Mock Election Put Obama in the Lead

Results of a statewide Ohio school mock election put Barack Obama ahead of Mitt Romney by 13 percentage points.

The results from 48 schools across the state reported to WVIZ/PBS ideastream’s NewsDepth break down like this:

• Obama: 2,377 (56%)
• Romney: 1,830 (43%)
• Other: 48 (1%)
• Total 4,255

NewsDepth says early results favored Obama 7-1, but results coming in from southern Ohio shrunk his lead.
