New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority Extends First-Time Buyer Benefits to Current Homeowners

In these hard economic times, even folks who have bought a home before can need help with home ownership. Now, New Hampshire Housing has broadened affordable mortgage loans and down payment assistance to all income-qualified New Hampshire residents, not just first-time buyers.

As managing director of home-ownership at New Hampshire Housing, Ignatius MacLellan states in this press release: “we are very excited to be able to expand the number of people we can serve. We will continue to work with first-time homebuyers, of course, but we now have the flexibility to reach a wider range of buyers throughout New Hampshire with competitive mortgage options, including downpayment assistance.”
