“Idahoans Will Get $1.1 Million In Health Insurance Rebates”


Officials at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services said Thursday that about 32,600 people in Idaho will share $1.1 million this summer in rebates on their health insurance premiums for 2011.

But the money might not be paid if the U.S. Supreme Court rules the federal health-care reform law unconstitutional.

If paid, the rebates will average $70 for the 16,000 Idaho families covered by a health insurance policy, officials said.
