Heinz Announces Layoffs At Pocatello Facility

Heinz officials say they are planning to lay off 80 full-time employees at their Pocatello facility next month due to a change in production needs.

Spokesperson Jessica Jackson said they told employees about the decision on Tuesday, but they haven’t yet notified the individuals who will be affected.

A statement released to the media said the layoff will impact “80 full-time, hourly team members, effective March 4, 2013.”
