Coeur d’Alene Metro Area Has The Highest Jobless Rate In Idaho

According to a U.S. Department of Labor report released Wednesday, Coeur d’Alene is No. 1 in Idaho.

But it’s not a top ranking any city would want.

The Lake City was honored for its percentage of unemployed folks, at 9.2. The number of those without jobs was counted at 6,700.

In comparison, Idaho’s number of unemployed was reported at 60,000, for a percent of unemployed of 7.8 percent.
