“Boise Area Farm Workers Buck Pay Trend”

By SEAN ELLIS Capital Press BOISE, Idaho — Farm worker is the only occupation in the Boise-Nampa area that earns more than the national average. A recent report by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics found that hourly workers in the Boise-Nampa metropolitan statistical area earn on average 11 percent less than their counterparts around the nation.
