Steel Company Eyes Eastern Idaho For Expansion – “A trade paper is reporting that a Georgia-based steel company plans to open a fabrication plant near Idaho Falls, creating as many as 175 jobs. The Fabricator, a publication of the Fabricators and Manufacturers Association, announced that Cives Steel Co. will open the plant. Cives is a Roswell, Ga.-based steel company that operates six divisions but does not maintain any plants in the West.” Post Register
St. Luke’s to build a $90 million hospital in Nampa – “St. Luke’s Health System plans to build a $90 million hospital in Nampa and a $30 million medical plaza in Fruitland in the next few years. The system this year borrowed about $150 million by selling bonds to pay for several projects, including the hospital and medical plaza.” Idaho Statesman
