Replacing Textbooks with Tech-Books

The Collier County schools Superintendent says tech-books will help teachers engage students who are digital natives.


Collier County became one of the first school districts in the nation to purchase science techbooks for its students in kindergarten through eighth grade last year. Collier will roll out a social studies techbook this year. Techbooks act like an electronic book, but can also play video clips, animated science vocabulary and interactive labs.
