A proposed online charter school that would hire a Virginia firm under investigation for using uncertified teachers is up for approval Tuesday before the Pinellas County School Board. District staff gave a stamp of approval to Florida Virtual Academy at Pinellas County. Yet they recommended rejection of two other charters.
