Orange County School Board Member Wants To Eliminate the FCAT

Orange County school board member Rick Roach wants to eliminate the FCAT. Roach gained notoriety for taking the 10th grade math test last year and failing, despite two master’s degrees.

Opposition to the Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test is growing so much that an Orange County school board member is now part of an effort to persuade state lawmakers to eliminate the test. That might not be so bad considering taxpayers pay a company $254 million a year for the test.
