Okaloosa County is going the online auction route to sell off its old furniture, equipment and other items.

The Okaloosa County School District is trying its hands at online auctions. For the next two weeks, the district will have a lawn mower up for bid as part of pilot program to test the effectiveness of using auctions on the Internet to sell surplus property.
