Florida ACT Scores Rise Slightly

The number of Florida students taking the ACT increased, as did their scores. But Florida still trails national averages.

Florida’s Class of 2012 did better on the ACT college admission test than previous classes but still lagged the nation, exam results released this morning showed. Eighteen percent of this year’s Florida high school graduates who took the ACT posted college-ready scores on its four exams, according to the 2012 Condition of College and Career Readiness report.
