Fictional Florida A&M Non-Profit Funnels Money To Senators’ Programs

More than $10 million has passed through the FAMU non-profit on its way to groups with ties to Sen. Gary Siplin, a Democrat, and Sen. Stephen Wise, a Republican.


TALLAHASSEE — Over the past three years, Florida A&M has been used as what the university has called a “pass through” to send millions in taxpayer dollars to nonprofit groups with close ties to two term-limited state senators.
